CLOSE CALL FOR WISCONSIN STATE TROOPER: SEMI HITS CRUISER

The Wisconsin State Patrol says one of its cruisers might have saved a trooper's life Friday. That cruiser was pulled over on I-94 when a semi side-swiped it. It happened in Hudson Friday afternoon. No one was hurt. The trooper was helping a stalled truck driver. Both men were in the cruiser when it was hit by that semi. Law enforcement says it's just another reminder that drivers need to follow the Move Over Law. That law says drivers have to slow down or switch lanes when an emergency vehicle is on the shoulder.
