A QC deputy is lucky to be alive after being hit by a car on the job. Rock Island County Deputy Travis Jacobs is in the hospital Monday night with several injuries. Police said 24-year-old Clarissa DeJesus lost control of her car in the rain, smashing into Jacobs.
