A POLICEWOMAN is in hospital after she was struck by a hit-run driver on the Geelong ring road. The Corio police constable, 35, had pulled over a truck for a routine check on a south-bound stretch of the ring road near Ballarat Rd shortly after 1.10pm yesterday when she was hit.
