Pennsylvania Police Officer Hit by Man Trying to Avoid Traffic Stop

A Carlisle police officer was hit by a car driven by a man trying to flee a traffic stop Thursday afternoon, police said. Officer Dan Parson was hospitalized, but the extent of his injuries wasn't made available.
