District of Columbia Police Officer Hit By Car, Taken To Hospital

A DC police officer was hit by a car Monday night and taken to an area hospital. According to Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson Ofc. Metcalf, the officer was struck at 6:32 p.m. in the 4500 block of Connecticut Ave NW.
