Law Enforcement Officer Among 10 Injured in Rt. 202 Crashes in Tredyffrin

As Fire/EMS crews were preparing to clear the scene, an SUV traveling in the Northbound lanes lost control and struck a Tredyffrin Township Police Dept. cruiser narrowly missing Berwyn firefighters. It was quickly determined that 4 subjects from the SUV and the Officer required transport to the hospital. Berwyn responded to the scene with 3 ambulances and an additional ambulance was requested from Lafayette Ambulance based in Upper Merion Twp.
In all 10 individuals were taken to area hospitals as a result of these two separate collisions. Final units from Berwyn cleared the scene before 1 p.m.
