Texas: Smith County Deputy Seriously Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle

A Smith County Sheriff's deputy was struck by an SUV Thursday night and seriously injured, according to Smith County DPS. The deputy was directing traffic at the Tyler Metro Church on Highway 110 South near Tyler when he was struck by the SUV.
