Massachusetts State Trooper Injured By Alleged OUI Driver In Saugus

A Massachusetts state trooper suffered minor injuries when his cruiser was struck by an alleged drunken driver on Route 1 in Saugus. Police said in a statement that the trooper was conducting a traffic stop in the southbound lanes just after 1 a.m. Friday. The trooper was still in his cruiser when it was struck from behind by another car.
