An Omaha police officer suffered minor injuries when he was hit by a fleeing driver Sunday afternoon. Police say the officer was responding to a drug complaint at North 14th and Grand avenues. As he stepped out of his cruiser, a red pickup approached and pinned the officer between the cruiser and truck before the driver took off.
