A Kansas City, MO, police officer has been struck by a hit-and-run driver, police say. Kansas City police confirm that shortly before 9:40 p.m., an officer was making a traffic stop near 25th and Montgall on the city's east side. After the officer got out of his car to approach the suspect vehicle, the female driver put the car into gear, struck the officer and drove off.
