Texas: Irving Police Motorcycle Hit by Car During Traffic Stop

An Irving police officer narrowly escaped injury after a car slammed into his motorcycle during a traffic stop. It happened just after noon on westbound Texas Highway 183 near North Belt Line Road in front of Irving Mall. The officer had just pulled over a car on the shoulder of 183 when another vehicle struck the officer's motorcycle and kept going, police said.
