New York: Police officer suffers minor injuries after being hit by vehicle in North York

A police officer was taken to hospital with minor injuries after he was struck by a vehicle in North York later Friday night. It happened on Jethro Road in the Jane Street and Wilson Avenue at around 10 p.m. Police say they recovered the suspect vehicle a short time later and have taken the persons involved in the incident into custody.
