A man accused of driving under the influence of drugs allegedly hit a trooper's cruiser, according to Colorado State Patrol. A spokeswoman for CSP said Keith Kilbey, 23 or Arvada is suspected of being under the influence of marijuana at the time of the accident. He was cited and taken to a detox center.

A witness disputes the State Police account of what happened before an officer shot at a 72-year-old New York man’s vehicle, wounding the man, who’d been driving the wrong way on Interstate 25 at night last weekend. Helen Vargas of Romeroville told the Las Vegas Optic that the van driver didn’t drive aggressively toward an officer or his vehicle, as State Police have maintained.

Texas: Drunk Drivers Run Into Sheriff's Deputy and Police Officer
A Dallas police officer was rushed to the hospital following a crash on I-35 E early Sunday morning. The wreck happened in the southbound lanes near Highway 67 around 3:00 a.m. Before that, two pickup trucks got into an accident. When a Dallas sheriff's deputy made it to the scene, his patrol car was hit by another vehicle. The deputy was not hurt.
