Missouri Department of Transportation workers now have more protection while on the job under a measure signed into law Tuesday by Gov. Jay Nixon. The law adds MoDOT vehicles and workers to the state’s “Slow Down or Move Over” law, which also protects law enforcement officers, tow trucks and emergency crews parked on the side of the road.
