Iowa: Council Bluffs Officer Struck
A Council Bluffs Police officer is recovering after narrowly escaping the path of a stolen vehicle Tuesday night. Capt. Todd Weddum said Officer Troy McIntosh was grazed by a stolen vehicle as the driver attempted to elude law enforcement. McIntosh was jumping out of the way of the vehicle when the front of the vehicle struck his back side, spinning him into a roadside ditch where he hit a utility pole.
