Kentucky State Police say a woman seriously injured a Greenup County Sheriff's deputy when she hit him with a car. It happened just after 8 p.m. Thursday on State Route 207. A woman was driving south on SR 207 when she hit both the sheriff's deputy and a tow-truck driver, who were responding to a separate vehicle crash.

South Dakota Trooper's Condition Critical After Being Struck by Chase Suspect
The 25-year-old woman who was shot by law enforcement after a high-speed chase through western Sioux Falls early Wednesday first rammed into trooper Andrew Steen’s vehicle, then returned to strike him after he had stepped out onto the pavement. Steen, a 34-year-old with eight years service in the Highway Patrol, was in stable but critical condition after the collision. Tacoma, WA Officer Dragged by Car, Shoots at Suspect
